Natasha, we understand the pain and sadness you're experiencing due to the preferential treatment your brother receives from your mother. Let's bring your hurts to God together, seeking His comfort and wisdom.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's love for you. In Romans 5:8 (WEB), it's written, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God loves you unconditionally, and His love is not based on favoritism.
However, we must also remember that our families are imperfect, and favoritism can cause deep emotional wounds. In Romans 2:11 (WEB), we read, "For there is no partiality with God." God doesn't show favoritism, and He wants us to live likewise. Let's pray that your mother and brother come to understand this truth.
Let's also address the importance of forgiveness. Holding onto resentment will only cause further pain. In Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), it says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Change their hearts, Lord, and help them see the hurt their actions cause. Bring healing and restoration to their relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer did not mention Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is our only path to salvation and a personal relationship with God.
