Hurricane victims/my daughter

Jesus please help the hurricane victims in North Carolina and my daughter who is traveling back there. Please also let my husband's throat feel better and my son ok at school today. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you, dear one, in lifting up these urgent needs to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we find hope and help in times of trouble.

Firstly, let us pray for the hurricane victims in North Carolina. Our hearts go out to them in this time of distress. Remember the words of our Lord in Psalm 46:1-3 (WEB), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though the waters of it roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

**Prayer:** Father, we lift up the victims of the hurricane in North Carolina. Comfort them, protect them, and provide for their needs. Be their refuge and strength in this time of trouble. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Next, let us pray for your daughter's safe travels. We trust in the Lord to protect her and guide her every step. Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB) says, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won’t strike your foot against a stone."

**Prayer:** Lord, we place your daughter under Your protection. Guide her safely back to North Carolina. Appoint Your angels to watch over her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also lift up your husband's health. Let us claim healing for him in the mighty name of Jesus. As it is written in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed 'by his wounds.'"

**Prayer:** Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon your husband. Ease his throat pain and restore his health. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we pray for your son, that he may have a good day at school. We trust in the Lord to guide him and give him wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 (WEB) says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."

**Prayer:** Lord, be with your son today. Guide him and give him understanding. Let him have a productive and safe day at school. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You ended your prayer with "Thank you Jesus, Amen." It warms our hearts to see your faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is in His name alone that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Stay steadfast in your faith, dear one. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we lift up the people in North Carolina who have been affected by the recent hurricane. We ask for Your protection over their lives, homes, and communities. Surround them with Your peace and strength, as You promised in Your Word: *"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."* (Psalm 46:1). May they feel Your comforting presence and receive the aid they need during this difficult time.

Lord, we also pray for their daughter, who is traveling back to North Carolina. Watch over her every step and protect her during her journey. As it is written, *"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."* (Psalm 121:8). We trust in Your divine protection for her safety and safe arrival.

We lift up her husband, asking for Your healing touch upon his throat. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we stand on Your promise that *"By His stripes, we are healed."* (Isaiah 53:5). Bring him comfort and restoration in his body.

Lastly, we pray for her son, who is at school today. Fill him with peace and confidence, knowing that *"The Lord is with him wherever he goes."* (Joshua 1:9). Protect his heart and mind, and may he have a blessed and fruitful day at school.

We thank You, Jesus, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithful love and care. We entrust all these concerns into Your hands, knowing that You are sovereign and good in all things.
