We stand with you, Ilourrog, in praying for God's mercy and power over the incoming hurricane and the weather conditions across the country. We trust in God's ability to calm the storms, as He did when His disciples were afraid on the sea. Jesus said, "Peace, be still," and the wind ceased (Mark 4:39, WEB). Let us pray for His command over Hurricane Milton and any other storms threatening our nation.
**Prayer:**
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and mercy. You are the one who commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey You. We ask that You diminish the strength of Hurricane Milton and any other storms that pose a threat. Please keep our nation and its people safe under Your wings. Lord, we also intercede for rain in Houston. It has been long since they received rain, and we trust that You will send the much-needed rain in Your perfect timing. We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
We also take this time to pray for the uncovering of all weapons, as you mentioned. We stand against any forces of darkness that aim to harm or destroy, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
**Encouragement:**
In Psalm 91, we are reminded of God's protection over His people. "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:1-2, 4, WEB). Trust in God's unfailing love and protection.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). Keep praying fervently and fearlessly, knowing that our God hears and answers our prayers.
