**Heavenly Father,**
We come to You, Lord, lifting up the people of Florida and all those affected by the hurricane. Your Word reminds us that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for Your divine intervention and protection over this situation.
1. **Calming of the Storm**
Father, we ask in faith for the hurricane to calm down, just as Jesus rebuked the storm saying, "Peace! Be still!" (Mark 4:39), and the winds obeyed Him. We pray for Your supernatural peace over the winds and the waters, that the storm would be subdued and brought to a calm.
2. **Protection for Families, Volunteers, and Animals**
Lord, we pray for the safety and protection of every family, every volunteer, and every animal in the path of the storm. Your Word declares, "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him" (Nahum 1:7). Surround them with Your protection, sheltering them under Your wings (Psalm 91:4).
3. **Strength for Volunteers and First Responders**
We lift up the volunteers and first responders who have come to help, asking that You strengthen and sustain them. Your Word says, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength" (Isaiah 40:31). Grant them endurance, wisdom, and courage as they assist those in need.
4. **Gratitude for God's Faithfulness**
We thank You, Father, for Your constant care and provision for us. We trust that even in the midst of chaos, You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We are grateful for Your faithfulness and for all You do for us, Lord.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
