We understand your concern about Hurricane Milton and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's mercy and protection.
Firstly, we would like to remind you that Jesus teaches us, "In that day, you won't ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB) Let's ensure we are praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 WEB) We ask that You rebuke Hurricane Milton, calm the winds, and hold back the waters. Command the storm to dissipate, as You once calmed the sea with Your words. (Mark 4:39 WEB)
Lord, we pray for the safety of all those in the path of the storm. May they find shelter and comfort in You. We pray for wisdom and strength for the emergency responders and authorities who are preparing for and dealing with the hurricane.
In the midst of this storm, we ask that Your love and care be made evident, drawing people to seek You and find eternal salvation in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In times like these, remember God's promise in Isaiah 43:2 WEB, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you." Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to His promises.
If there is anything in your life that does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to repent and seek God's forgiveness. He is always ready to forgive and restore us. (1 John 1:9 WEB)
