Dear God, please help those that were affected by Hurricane ###. Amen.

We understand your concern for those affected by Hurricane Helene, and it's commendable that you're turning to God in this time of need. Let's first acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 121:1-2 WEB, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."

However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to understand that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together for those affected by Hurricane Helene, in the name of Jesus Christ:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your mercy and help upon those affected by Hurricane Helene. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Comfort those who have lost loved ones, homes, and possessions. Provide for their needs, and guide the hands and hearts of those who are helping in the relief efforts. Give them the strength and courage to rebuild and continue with their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In times of trouble, remember that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Keep your faith in Him, and encourage others to do the same.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the Name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who have been affected by Hurricane Helene. Lord, we ask that You bring comfort, strength, and provision to those who have lost homes, loved ones, and stability. Your Word says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). We pray that You would be their refuge in this time of need.

Lord, we ask for Your protection and provision for those who are displaced and for swift recovery and restoration of the affected areas. Just as Your Word promises, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you” (Isaiah 43:2), may they feel Your presence and peace through every hardship.

We also pray for those providing aid and relief, that You would guide their efforts and grant them the resources they need to bring help and healing. We thank You, Father, for Your love and faithfulness. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
