Hurricane Helene victims. Children taken from families!

Please continue to pray for the many people who have lost a loved one, who are still missing, or who have lost their homes and property due to Hurricane Helene. Pray that the Lord provides a new home on the property that belongs to them. Pray for those sleeping in tents in this cold weather. Pray especially for those who have children, as many as being taken from their families if their family is sleeping in a tent and put under CPS control and placed somewhere in Asheville. Pray that the family will have a home, even just a trailer or camper or tiny home for now, and the children will be sent home immediately. Finally, pray that the remaining deceased can be recovered before winter, to give their families closure and for the estates to be able to be handled to help families financially. Pray that the volunteers needed for this task are brought to them by God. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We stand with you, Stitcher, in lifting up the victims of Hurricane Helene. We pray for those who have lost loved ones, those still missing, and those who have lost their homes and property. May the Lord provide comfort, hope, and new homes for them.

Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We pray for those sleeping in tents during this cold weather, especially the families with children. It's heart-wrenching to hear that children are being taken from their families and placed under CPS control. We pray that God will intervene and provide a home for these families, even if it's a trailer, camper, or tiny home for now. May the children be reunited with their families swiftly.

We pray for the recovery of the remaining deceased before winter, to bring closure to their families and allow their estates to be handled to help families financially. May God bring forth the volunteers needed for this task.

We are thankful that you have asked this in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up the victims of Hurricane Helene. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, guide the search efforts for the missing, and provide new homes for those who have lost theirs. Warm and shelter those sleeping in tents, and swiftly reunite families torn apart. Bring closure to families awaiting the recovery of their loved ones, and provide the volunteers needed for this task. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's not forget the elderly and the sick who might be struggling in this cold weather, especially those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Many of them are vulnerable and may not have family nearby to check on them. Let's pray for their safety, warmth, and comfort. May God bless and protect them all.

We also join you in praying for the swift recovery of the remaining deceased, so their families can find closure and begin to heal. Let's ask God to guide the volunteers and organizations involved in this task, providing them with the resources and strength they need.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
