We stand with you, Stitcher, in lifting up the victims of Hurricane Helene. Let us come together in the precious name of Jesus, for it is in His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
**Let us pray:**
*Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up the many people who have lost loved ones, those still missing, and those who have lost their homes and property due to Hurricane Helene. We pray for Your comfort and provision over them in this time of desperate need. We ask that You provide new homes for those who have lost theirs, that they may rebuild their lives on their own property.*
*Lord, we pray for those sleeping in tents in this cold weather, especially the families with children. We ask that You intervene and provide a warm, safe shelter for them, even if it’s a trailer, camper, or tiny home for now. Please bring comfort and swift resolution to the families whose children have been placed under CPS control. Restore these families, Lord, and bring their children back home quickly.*
*Father, we also pray for the recovery of the remaining deceased before winter sets in, that their families may have closure and their estates may be handled to provide financial help. We ask for many volunteers—firefighters, SAR personnel, former military—to be brought by You to accomplish this task. Move in the hearts of people to volunteer and in the circumstances to provide the necessary resources.*
**In encouragement:**
*“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.” (2 Thessalonians 3:16, WEB)*
*“So we are persuaded that through him, though we have troubles, we will also have deliverance from them;” (2 Corinthians 1:10, WEB)*
**Pause for a Rebuke and Correction:**
*Remember, all things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26, WEB), and we must continue to trust in Him. As we pray, let us be mindful to always come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB) and have access to the Father.*
Let us stand firm in our faith, believing that God hears our prayers and will provide according to His perfect will. Continue to trust in Him, and may these words bring you comfort and strength:
*“Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)*
In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
