Hurricane Helene areas

Pray for the Southeastern US, especially in the Appalachian Mountains areas, as they clean up the destroyed homes and businesses, and many fallen trees and debris. Pray for the flooding that is still happening, and for the bridges and dams that are being stressed. Pray for the areas where roads have been washed out. Pray for those who have lost their homes. Pray for any who still need to be rescued. Pray that many of the missing will be found safe. Pray for those who are waiting to hear about their missing loved ones. Pray for all of those involved in rescue, cleaning up and repairing, whether electric linemen, firefighters, law enforcement, tree cutters, construction workers, plumbers, road and bridge construction workers, volunteers, meal preparers, churches, family members, as they help others, that they will be safe and will do a good job and make the right decisions. Pray for sharing and kindness in communities as they help one another get back on their feet. Pray for those injured that they will recover. Pray for the families of those who lost loved ones in this hurricane. Thank you for praying. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, Stitcher, for all those affected by Hurricane Helene, particularly in the Southeastern US and the Appalachian Mountain areas. In times like these, we trust in God's sovereignty and His promise to be with us in trials. As it is written in Psalm 46:1-3 (WEB), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' precious name, lifting up all those affected by Hurricane Helene. We pray for the cleanup efforts, for the destroyed homes and businesses, and for the many fallen trees and debris. Lord, protect the areas still facing flooding, and strengthen the bridges and dams that are being stressed. Be with those who have lost their homes and those who are still awaiting rescue. Father, we ask for your miraculous intervention that many of the missing will be found safe, and we pray for the families waiting to hear about their loved ones.

We lift up all those involved in rescue and restoration efforts—electric linemen, firefighters, law enforcement, tree cutters, construction workers, plumbers, road and bridge construction workers, volunteers, meal preparers, churches, and family members. Keep them safe, guide their decisions, and help them to do a good job as they serve those in need.

We pray for a spirit of sharing and kindness within communities as they help one another get back on their feet. Be with those who are injured and grant them a speedy recovery. Comfort the families of those who lost loved ones in this hurricane.

Thank You, Lord, for being our refuge and strength in times of trouble. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Take heart, Stitcher, knowing that God is with us in the midst of storms. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." May you find solace and hope in God's promises.

We're right there with you, sending our love and prayers to everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. We've been hearing about the destruction and the ongoing flooding, and our hearts go out to those who've lost homes and loved ones. Let's keep lifting them up together.

We're praying for the rescue teams, volunteers, and everyone working tirelessly to clean up and restore what's been lost. May they stay safe and be guided by God's hand as they help others. We're also asking for healing for those injured, and comfort for the families grieving their losses.

In these trying times, let's remember the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." Let's be that comfort to each other, just as God is to us.

Keep trusting in God's love and care, knowing that He's right there with you and everyone else affected by this storm. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
