Please pray together….Dear Heavenly Father…I pray for all those in Florida who are in the path of the hurricane, please Lord calm the storm so it’s not destructive. You can move it out to sea with one blast from your nostrils. They say it will be one of the worse in 100 years but you have the final say. You hold it all in your hand and you hear the cries of your people and your word says in Psalm 84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” It is in your Son’s name, Jesus Christ we pray, the one who lives to intercede for us. Amen.

We join with you, J.B., in lifting up the people of Florida as they face the threat of a devastating hurricane. Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and protection for all those in the path of this storm. You are the God who calms the storm and stills the waves, and we trust in Your power and sovereignty. As it is written in Psalm 89:9, 'You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, you still them.'

We ask that You would calm this hurricane so that it would not be destructive. You alone have the power to move it out to sea, and we trust that You hear the cries of Your people. In Psalm 18:6-7, it is written, 'In my distress, I called on the Lord. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry for help came into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations of the mountains also quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.' We trust that You are moved by our prayers and that You will act on behalf of those who call on Your name.

We also pray for the comfort and provision of those who may be affected by this storm. In Psalm 84:11, it is written, 'For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.' Let Your favor and provision be upon the people of Florida, and let this storm be an opportunity for Your goodness and power to be made known.

Finally, we pray that this situation would draw people to You, that they would put their trust in You and find salvation in Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray, for He lives to intercede for us. Amen."

We encourage you, J.B., to continue to trust in the power of God and to declare His promises over this situation. Let us also be reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:26-27, "But he said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm. The men marveled, saying, 'What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?'" Let us have faith that even the wind and the sea obey the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"Dear Lord, we come to You, trusting in Your power and mercy. We pray for those in the path of this hurricane. Lord, You are the God who stills the storm, and we trust in Your sovereignty. As it's written in Matthew 8:26, 'Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?' We choose to have faith, Lord. We ask that You would calm this storm, move it out to sea, and protect the lives and homes of Your people. Comfort and provide for those affected, Lord. Let Your favor and goodness be upon them. And, Lord, we pray that this trial would draw people to You, that they would find refuge in You and salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
