We did apply to FEMA...course they said no...We are truly sorry to hear about the devastation you've experienced due to the hurricane. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your situation.
Firstly, we thank you for acknowledging the power in Jesus' name. It's only by His name that we can approach God and it is by his stripes that we are healed and saved ( Isaiah 53:5 ). As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In times of trouble, God encourages us to call upon Him. Psalm 50:15 WEB says, "Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will glorify me." We pray that you continue to put your trust in Him, even in this difficult situation.
Now, let us address the issue of damaged ands. We can reassure you Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." He is aware of your needs, including financial ones.
Matthew 6:25 WEB, God tells us, "Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" And in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Therefore, do no be anxious.
However, we also encourage you to be proactive in your situation. The Bible teachesus in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" If there is any work you can do, or any steps you can take to start the repair process, we encourage you to do so. Reach out to local churches, community resources, and governmental relief funding to seek assistance. And you may wish to look for a Christian husband to be in marriage and also be a helper in your life.
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Yleniriel and their family who have experienced loss and damage due to the hurricane. We pray for Your comfort, provision and guidance. Come and be in the midst of this hardship You have allowed. Lord, Your Word teaches us that You will never leave nor forsake Your children. You may allow hardships and trials, but all to perpose to reconcile us being Yourself to accept eternal salvation through Jesus Christ and to teach us about Godliness.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. Provide for their financial needs so that they may repair their home and be encouraged from your word and children. Open doors for resources and assistance. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this challenging time. If it is your will to bring a Christan husband into this life, please orchestrate it and work things out on their behalf.
Finally, remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting in Your will and goodness. It is in this time that may may decide to read Romans Chapers 1-11 to understand Your purpose, power, goodness and love, as there are no accidents in this world. You may have allowed the hurricane to be such a great blessing this world has ever known. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers, in Jesus Christ's name.
Amen.
As you walk through this trial, remember God's love and faithfulness. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
