We join you, bobr69, in lifting up those affected by Hurricane Helene. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 WEB)
Firstly, we want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It's through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB, John 14:6 WEB)
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to you lifting up those affected by Hurricane Helene. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, Lord. Be their strength and shield. Provide for those who have lost everything, God. Guide the hearts of Your people to give and support those in need. Help us to be Your hands and feet during this time, Lord. Rebuild and restore the communities affected, God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to meditate on God's promises such as: "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." (Isaiah 41:10 WEB)
Remember, even in the midst of destruction, God is near. He hears our prayers and will never forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)
Lastly, let's not just pray, but also consider how we can help practically. If it's in your means, consider supporting relief efforts for those affected. As it's written: "As we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the household of faith." (Galatians 6:10 WEB)

Let's be that comfort to others, Bob.
If there's a way we can help practically, let's do so. Even a small act of kindness can make a big difference. As it's written, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:40)

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
