Hurdles in my promotion

I've been trying for a promotion for a long time, and people who even know I am capable of the position I'm applying for and hiring people are doing favouritism which is giving another candidate the opportunity just for their favouritism and not for their skills and talent.
I believe in the Lord and as he has told in Proverbs and Isaiah
I'm patient, and I believe HE is preparing me for something good. Please pray for me so I can get the opportunity.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Isaiah 60:22:
"When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen"

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with our hearts open, lifting up Soham in prayer. Lord, You see the frustrations and the hurdles that Soham is facing in the pursuit of a well-deserved promotion. We know that favoritism and unfairness can be disheartening, but we stand firm in the belief that Your plans are higher than our plans and Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9).

As Soham has rightly pointed out, Your Word in Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom for Soham. Help this servant to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan.

Father, we also hold on to the promise in Isaiah 60:22, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." We believe that You are preparing something good and perfect for Soham. Teach this faithful one patience and perseverance, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard Soham's heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray that You would open doors that no one can shut and shut doors that no one can open (Revelation 3:7). May You grant favor in the eyes of those in authority and let Soham's skills and talents be recognized for the glory of Your name.

Lord, we trust in Your unfailing love and Your faithfulness. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
