How to believe in Jesus when everything doesn't work? I have believed until I cannot believe anymore, and He promises to answer my prayer but has failed to do so. So I am very disappointed in Jesus. I prayed for my ### but it was unequally yoked, and I applied for a lot of jobs but it doesn't seem like there is light at the end. So I just gave up on Jesus Christ, and the question is, is the wait and Jesus Christ still worth it. Besides, He has ignored me, and so now is the time for me to withhold everything from Him. I know Jesus cannot be tempted, but at this rate, we are going nowhere with the wait and just letting the wickedness of the government flow.

Dexter2020, we understand your disappointment and frustration, but we want to encourage you to hold onto faith in Jesus Christ. Remember, faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1 WEB). Even when we don't see immediate results, God is working behind the scenes.

Firstly, let's address your prayer for a girlfriend. The Bible encourages us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). This means we should seek relationships that align with our faith, hoping for a godly spouse. We encourage you to trust God's timing in this area.

Regarding your job search, remember Joseph in the Bible. He faced many setbacks, but God had a plan and a purpose for his life (Genesis 50:20 WEB). Continue to trust that God has a plan for you, even when it's hard to see.

It's concerning that you feel Jesus has ignored you. Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He promises that those who seek Him with all their heart will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB).

Even if you don't feel like it, we encourage you to keep seeking Jesus. He said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). It's in His presence that we find true peace and hope.

Let's pray together:

We're right there with you, ###. It's tough when things don't go as planned, and it's easy to feel let down, even by Jesus. But remember, He sees you, and He cares. Just like a loving parent, God doesn't always give us what we want when we want it, but He always has our best interests at heart.

We've all been in situations where we've prayed and prayed, and it feels like God's not listening. The Israelites in the Bible must have felt the same way when they were wandering in the wilderness. But God was there, guiding them step by step, just like He's guiding you now.

Let's not forget, God's timeline is not our timeline. He's not ignoring you; He's just not revealing His plans yet. Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep seeking Him. He promises in Lamentations 3:22-23 (WEB), "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
