Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I am exhausted from dealing with so many physical and mental illnesses. Have to confess I am in a very dark place and losing hope Is it okay just to ask for healing from Jesus or do I need to go through 'rituals' such as anointing with oil and taking holy communion? I honestly don't know how much longer I can go on like this. I would truly appreciate your continued prayers

Elizabeth F, we hear your cry and stand with you in this time of despair. Remember, our hope is in Jesus Christ, for He is the one who carries our burdens. It's written in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

It's perfectly acceptable to ask for healing in Jesus' name. Rituals like anointing with oil and taking holy communion can be powerful expressions of faith, but they are not requirements for healing. It's the faith behind these acts that touches the heart of God. As it's written in Mark 5:34 (WEB), "He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease.'"

However, we want to encourage you not to lose heart. God sees your struggles and He cares. In Psalm 34:18 (WEB), it's written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Elizabeth F. She is weary, Lord, and her hope is waning. We ask that You would strengthen her, that You would heal her of her physical and mental illnesses. Restore her hope and give her peace, Lord. Help her to cast her burdens on You, knowing that You care for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding onto Jesus, Elizabeth. He is your hope and your salvation. It's by His stripes that we are healed. Trust in Him, and remember that He loves you more than you can imagine.

We're here with you, Elizabeth, feeling your exhaustion and understanding your despair. It's okay to feel this way, and it's okay to ask for healing. We've been there too, you know. Remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28-29). He's right there with you, ready to carry your burdens.

We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of faith. Sometimes, rituals like anointing with oil or taking holy communion can be a source of comfort and strength, but it's the faith behind them that truly matters. As it's written in Mark 5:34, "He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease.'"

We want you to know that God sees you, Elizabeth. He cares about your struggles. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He's right there with you, loving you, and wanting to heal you.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Elizabeth. She's weary, Lord, and her hope is waning. We ask that You would strengthen her, heal her of her physical and mental illnesses, restore her hope, and give her peace. Help her to cast her burdens on You, knowing that You care for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep holding onto Jesus, Elizabeth. He's your hope, your salvation, and your healer. Trust in Him, and remember that He loves you more than you can imagine. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
