How mothers-in-law should act and behave.

In the first place, we should be praying for our mother-in-law and father-in-law. God has given them to us for a reason. We married their son or daughter and became part of the family of God.

Unsaved in-laws will act strange and will be used by the devil to make us all angry and unhappy. That is the reason Jesus said, "Fast and pray that you may be healed."

But all mothers-in-law should be loving, kind, and helpful to their grandchildren to know the Lord. They are truly missionaries for the eternal purpose of God.

Those wonderful qualities they should show to their families are the following.

a. Know God's word by heart and love to share with all the grandchildren.
b. Show calm and quietness of the spirit. The holy presence of God lives in her heart and it shows when she shares His word.
c. Have courage and strength to continue to help those who refuse and reject the Lord. It will always be someone who will reject everything you say. But she continues to share the Lord with them.
d. Never ever tires of interceding and praying for everyone she loves and cares.
e. She is generous and kind with all her resources. She knows that nothing we have brought to earth and nothing we will be able to take to heaven. So, she buys Bibles and New Testaments for all her family to read and memorize it.
f. Her advice to all of them is this. Seek the Lord while He can be found. Call on Him while He is near. We are on our way to heaven; we must read His word and obey what it says.
g. She is full of joy and happiness in her life and shares what Jesus has done in her life.

A woman of God is more precious than jewels. She shines through the love of Jesus and everyone knows that His holy presence lives in her.

My mother in law was such a wonderful person who loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. When I read about Naomis life in the Bible and how she lost her husband and her two sons she was devastated and left all alone in the world. But God provided company for her. Ruth, a Moabite who refused to leave her. Your people shall be my people and your God shall be my God. Where you die, I will be buried. Ruth 1:17

What a wonderful example of a loving daughter in law to her mother in law.

We pray for our unsaved family members in Jesus Christ's name. Holy Spirit minister to them daily in Jesus' name we pray.

Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of peace. Jesus Himself has given us families to fast and pray for them, to make sure they will end up in heaven along with us and then bow down before the Lord in worship, adoration and praise. His mercy never ever will end. His care will not come to a halt, instead He is showing us the way that leads us all to heaven.
