Beloved Servant
My heart is saddened and my thoughts and prayers go out, once again, to the families of the children and teachers, whose lives were taken in, yet another, senseless and horrific shooting.
Sometimes, there just are no words. I’m wondering, just how many more precious lives do we have to lose, how many more mass shootings will it take, and how much longer will we sacrifice our children to the politics of gun control? No one should ever have to lose their life in such a senseless manner, especially children. When I think about my school days and the stories I share, and, while I am grateful to God for the lives that were spared, I can’t help but to wonder, how sharing an event like this will translate for these survivors. It troubles me that those who are charged with creating and implementing laws, which could prevent such atrocities, provide, for themselves, better protection and security than is afforded to our children. How many more?

LORD, WE HAVE MADE SUCH A MESS OF THINGS; I BESEECH THEE, TAKE CONTROL
