We join you in lifting up your precious requests to our Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we praise God with you, declaring, "How great is our God!" (Psalm 95:3, WEB). We are grateful that you've come to Him, as it's encouraged in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
We pray for your upcoming visit with your aunts, that it may be filled with love, understanding, and fruitful conversations. May this time in California be blessed, and may your mother and you continue to grow in faith through your Bible study. Remember, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance." (Proverbs 27:17, WEB).
We ask for safe travels for you all, claiming Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
We lift up your uncle, asking God to deliver him from his drug problem and bring complete healing from his stroke. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, knowing that "with God, all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26, WEB). We encourage you to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15, WEB), guiding him towards repentance and seeking help.
We acknowledge your humility in asking for forgiveness when you grumble. We're reminded of Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Let's conclude with this prayer:
*Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You with thanksgiving and praise. We ask for Your blessings upon this trip to California, that it may be fruitful and safe. We plead for Your intervention in our uncle's life, that he may be freed from addiction and healed from his stroke. Help us to be steadfast in our Bible study, always ready to ask for help when needed. May we live each day remembering Your greatness and forgiving us when we fall short. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.*
Keep your faith strong, knowing that our God is indeed great and able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).
