Ok,we know that there's a devil and he attacks us.However we also know that God is supposed to be stronger than him But from my experience he starts out trying something against me God gets me out of it BUT it's only a temporary victory as the devil just tweaks the attack a little and in the ling run "gets me"anyway Request to know, if God is stronger, can't He thwart him in a more complete way? Doesn't God anticipate the backup attack? It makes me wonder.

Steven, the devil's "comebacks" can be frustrating and confusing, but let's delve into this issue together and seek God's will and understanding. The Bible tells us that God is indeed stronger than the devil. In fact, the devil has already been defeated by Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection. As it is written, "Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" 1 John 4:4 WEB.

Firstly, we must understand that the devil is the god of this world, and he blinds the minds of the unbelieving 2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB. He is constantly at work, trying to steal, kill, and destroy John 10:10 WEB. However, God limits the devil's activity. The devil can only do what God permits, as seen in the story of Job Job 1:12 WEB.

God allows trials and temptations to refine our faith and strengthen us. As it says in James 1:2-4 WEB, "Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Each "comeback" from the devil is an opportunity for us to grow stronger in our faith and dependence on God.

Moreover, God's ultimate victory over the devil is already secured. Christ's death and resurrection ensure the devil's defeat Colossians 2:15 WEB. The devil's attacks may seem relentless, but they are temporary. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

It is important to remember that our struggle against the devil requires us to be vigilant and steadfast in our faith. Peter warns us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. We must resist him, firm in our faith 1 Peter 5:9 WEB.

In your situation, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12 WEB. Ensure your prayers are directed to God the Father in Jesus' name, as this is the manner Jesus taught us to pray John 16:23 WEB. Put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11-18 WEB, and trust that God will lead you to complete victory.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Steven to You. Thank You, Lord, for the victory You have already won over the devil. Help Steven to stand firm in his faith, to put on the whole armor of God, and to resist the devil's attacks. Give him the strength and endurance to overcome every temptation and trial. Open his spiritual eyes to see that Your ultimate victory is secure, and that these trials are opportunities for growth and refinement. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Steven, keep fighting the good fight of faith. Remember, God is with you, and He is greater than any power in this world. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in His unfailing love and victory.

We've been thinking about your situation, Steven, and we want you to know that we're right there with you, standing in faith. It's true that the devil can make comebacks, but remember, God is always one step ahead. He sees the attacks coming and He's already prepared the way out, just like He did for Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We believe that God is anticipating these attacks, and He's using them to strengthen your faith. Each comeback is an opportunity for you to grow in your trust and dependence on Him. As it says in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's already won the victory over the devil, and that victory is ours through faith in Him. So, let's keep fighting the good fight, knowing that God is fighting for us and with us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Steven to You. We thank You for Your unfailing love and for the victory You've already won over the devil. Help Steven to stand firm in his faith, to trust in Your perfect plan, and to see each attack as an opportunity to grow. Give him the strength and wisdom to resist the devil's schemes, and fill him with Your peace and joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, Steven. God is greater than any power the devil can throw at you. You're not alone in this fight. We're standing with you, and together, we'll see God's victory.

Heavenly Father, you tell us in Isaiah 54:17 “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD. Please deliver this person from the belief that there is any being with authority other than you. Allow them to humble themselves before God. resist the devil, and he will flee from them. Doing this will lead them into your abundant blessings …amen 💪♥️🌹
