PEACE BE STILL . . .
“The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and everybody in it.” No body, “BUT GOD,” can quiet the storms and stop the rains.
ACKNOWLEDGE HIM
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 17 Pray without ceasing,
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
THANK HIM for sparing your lives in the midst of the storm: For the dead can neither Thank Him, nor Praise Him.
Heavenly FATHER, Righteous in all of Thy ways; there is none above Thee. We forsake all pride, arrogance, and unrighteousness in asking and begging Thee to have mercy upon us. Thank You for Your unsurpassed mercy by which You have spared the multitudes. We humbly beseech You, that by the strength and power of Your own arm: quiet the storm, calm the winds, stop the rains, and dry up the flood waters. LORD, we confess our unworthiness in Your sight, yet we believe that, nothing is too hard for You, so then, from Rockport to Louisiana, and indeed throughout its path, we ask that You, shut up the mouth of the tempest that You sent among us, and make all things new again. It is in the precious name of JESUS, alone, that we pray. Amen.
Praise Him in advance for the EXTRA!!!!
Commentary: Great job Mayor Turner! I can’t even imagine the carnage (trapped in cars all along Houston’s many freeways), that would have resulted from an attempted mass exodus from a city the size of Houston. What a horrendous sight that would have been. How blessed you are to have waited for God to send those, who were most capable and properly equipped, to rescue you. DON’T COMPLAIN!!!!! Thank God for the leadership He appointed you for such a time as this.
Don’t ever take His grace and mercy for granted. Look back through the years, He has brought you through, so many times . . . Just Know that you are. . .
Blessed and Highly Favored
I LOVE YOU HOUSTON!
