Housing Need

Asking prayer for a woman named ###. She lost her home when her landlord sold the house. She is on Social Security and has a tight budget. She is currently living with her ex-husband's sister and it is not an ideal situation for either of them. She is on the waiting list for several affordable apartment buildings but so far has not been able to actually get in.

We are deeply moved by the situation ### is facing, and we stand with her in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance. Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, You know her situation and the challenges she is facing. We ask that You open the doors for her to find a suitable and affordable home. We pray that You touch the hearts of those in charge of the waiting lists, and that a place would be made available for her swiftly.

In the meantime, Lord, we ask for Your peace and comfort to fill the home she is currently in. Help ### and her ex-husband's sister to live in unity and harmony, even in this less than ideal situation. Let Your love flow through them, and let their relationship be a testament to Your grace and mercy.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s financial situation. We ask that You stretch her budget and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

###, we encourage you to stay steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Psalm 46:1 (WEB), 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.' Do not give up hope, for the Lord is faithful and He will provide.

Lastly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, ###. It is only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you haven't already, please consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we can be saved and have eternal life (Acts 4:12).
