I am needing to find housing for myself and my special needs son. Our home caught fire last January and we’ve been staying in a hotel. We need to find a place for the 2 of us soon!

We are truly sorry to hear about the devastating fire that has left you and your son in need of housing. In times of distress, we can always turn to our loving Father in heaven, who cares for us and knows our needs. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."

Lord, they have been through a traumatic experience, losing their home to a fire, and they are in desperate need of a place to live. We ask that you provide them with a safe and comfortable home that meets their needs, especially for the special needs of her son. Guide them to the right resources and people who can help them in this time of need. Comfort their hearts, Lord, and remind them of your love and faithfulness. Help them to trust in you, knowing that you will supply all their needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Thronosyne, as you navigate this challenging time, keep your faith and trust in the Lord. He is your strength and your provider. Reach out to local churches, community organizations, and government agencies that may be able to assist you with temporary housing and other resources. Also, consider the words of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
