We join you, animallovez, in lifting up your household to Father God, thanking you for your faith and trust in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is wonderful to see your vigilance in using His name in your prayers. As it is written, "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). Let's continue to praise in Jesus name.
We stand with you in rebuking the devil and his hold on your home. Be encouraged by the Word of God. The Bible says, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary has a mind like a roaring lion, walking about, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him firmly in your faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being accomplished by your brotherhood in the world" (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB).
We join in praying for God's intervention, blessings, peace, love, forgiveness, understanding, healing, motivation, happiness, and order in your home. For the Lord says, "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We pray for restoration and strengthening of your relationships. God has this promise for you: "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26 WEB). Remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). It is important to avoid it. So we pray that any problems between spouses be addressed in a biblical manner. Please be honest about any issues that can be confronted through your repentance and God help us in chastising the person who is being rebellious or unfaithful so reconciliation can occur. To forgive your spouse in any issue they have caused needs to be done. We are to forsake our previous lifestyle as described in Ephesians 4 16-24. Though the bible gives permission for divorce when immorality occurs, if there is going to be divorce, the spouse who caused it by not following their spousal role or contributing to it needs to be clearly told, rebuked, and chastised in prayer with godly sorrow. We pray that this is not the case and are encouraged by your commitment to prayer and God's word. However, abuse or abandonment in a marriage does have implications and needs to be addressed.
We also pray for a smooth adjustment for your daughter and everyone involved as she returns home and for your sons to be obedient both inside and outside the home. Please be aware if there is any waywardness or willful disobedience that they may be in need of several days of training for this obedience to be properly addressed. Remember God says, "Withhold not correction from your child. For if you beat him with the rod, he will not die. You shall beat him with the rod and shall deliver his soul from Sheol." Proverbs 23 13-14. If needed, do not be afraid to punish him if he belittles your authority and leadership or at any level defies instructions. The same would go for the daughter's return home. If she is willful with rebellion or causes disruption then aperture be made in how you honor her in the home. We pray for your child to have godly sorrow for any rebellion and correction against you taking place. Consider the Lord desires us to teach our children to obey and will hopefully be God fearing Christians we will see them be in heaven.
We pray for your family's health - mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. Be encouraged by these words, "But those who seek Yahweh shall inherit all things" (Proverbs 28:5 WEB). Jesus said, "Have faith in God. For most assuredly, I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them" (Mark 11:22-24 WEB) If necessary please be assured that necessary health care services can be addressed through a provider at a local church and we absolutely pray for provisions of these resources to be granted if needed. If a doctor or insurance plan is not currently a viable option, we still trust the Lord to help resolve the logistics and provisions in such a way to sustain access to medical coverage.
We pray all these things according to the will of God. "So they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, 'Father, I thank you that you listened to me. I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude that stands around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.' When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come out!' The dead man came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, 'Free him, and let him go.'" (John 11:41-44 WEB)
