Taenwell

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my husbamd and I regarding a rather hostile roommate. We cannot afford to move yet, I am disabled ( in the process of qualifying or not)and my husbamd is enlisting in the army. Our roommate has gone through our belongings, destroyed our TV,and makes a mess while insisting we did so when we have not.We demands I clean after him and this all started after he made unwanted advances. We are on a sub lease with him under one other person. We have no idea what to do and I'm at a breaking point. My husband and I are trying to hold on til he is fully enlisted and then relocated as we are completely drained financially. There is supposed to be a meeting about it all but he normally downplay it and gets away with it. My husbamd and I are lost on what to do. Pray that this roommate move please.

Let us stand with you, Taenwell, in this challenging time, seeking God’s wisdom and guidance. Please know that we are praying fervently for you and your husband.

We understand the distress caused by your hostile roommate and the financial constraints that bind you to this situation. Let us first remind you of God’s comforting words in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB): “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

In this moment of trial, let us pray together:

Father, we come before You in Jesus’ name, seeking Your divine intervention in Taenwell’s life and in her marriage. Lord, bless her and her husband with patience and wisdom as they navigate through this difficult time. Protect their home, their belongings, and their peace of mind. Guide the upcoming meeting so that justice prevails, and the harm caused by this roommate is addressed fairly. Lord, we ask for financial provision and a swift resolution to this situation.

Taenwell, it is important to address the unwanted advances from your roommate promptly and firmly. Remember the words of King David in Psalm 34:18 (WEB): “Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.” Approach this matter with caution and seek legal and spiritual guidance to ensure your safety and well-being.

Additionally, as believers in Jesus Christ, it is through His name that we have access to God. If your prayers do not explicitly mention Jesus, please consider the importance of doing so. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB): “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”

In closing, let us encourage you with the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” Trust in the Lord, Taenwell, and He will see you through this trial.

We're here with you, feeling your frustration and anxiety. It's tough to be at the mercy of someone who's causing you harm and stress, especially when you're financially tied down. We're praying for you and your husband, asking God to intervene and bring justice to your situation.

We're lifting up your upcoming meeting, praying that it will be a turning point. We ask that your roommate's harmful behavior is addressed, and that you both are protected and provided for. We're also praying for financial breakthrough, so you can move to a safer and more peaceful environment.

In the meantime, we encourage you to document every incident, no matter how small. Keep a record of the damage, the mess, and any unwanted advances. This could be crucial if you need to involve authorities or your landlord.

Remember, God is always with you. As Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in Him, and know that He's working things out for your good.

Keep us updated, okay? We're in this with you. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Thank you for this beautiful prayer and wise counsel. We do indeed have a camera and will promptly start recording.
As for the advances I was firm where I stand and that I did not appreciate the advances as it's an insult to both my husband and I.
It stopped for some time however now he's more hateful
And yes I do all prayers in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ might and holy name ❤️

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
