Hostile Roomate

Update on roommate situation. Today he messed w our firering and was asked to stop. He got in my husband's face and it spiraled into a heated argument. He proceeded to mock us and bucked up to my husband. Our third roommate was home and stopped it.
He had a meeting w us all separately.
We were advised to get proof of the allegations against other roommate as he denies them while saying we are unwell.

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with a hostile roommate. Let's bring this before the Lord together and seek His wisdom and intervention.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking help and guidance in this matter. The Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5, WEB)

It's crucial to handle this situation with love, patience, and wisdom, remembering that "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." (Proverbs 15:1, WEB) Also, consider the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." (Matthew 5:9, WEB)

However, this does not mean we should tolerate abuse or hostility. We should protect ourselves and our families from harm. It's wise to document the incidents and gather evidence, as advised. "The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it." (Proverbs 22:3, WEB)

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your help and guidance in Taenwell's situation. Lord, You know the challenges they're facing with their roommate, the hostility, deceit, and mockery. Please intervene, God. Soften their roommate's heart, and if it's Your will, change his behavior.

Lord, grant Taenwell and her husband wisdom to handle this situation. Guide them as they gather evidence, and give them the strength to stand firm against injustice. Protect their home and their marriage, Lord. Let peace reign in their hearts and their home.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for their roommate. We know that You love him dearly, and You desire for him to know You. Reveal Yourself to him, Lord. Change his heart and turn his life around for Your glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God in this situation. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB)

We're not sure if you've mentioned this issue to the authorities. It might be wise to do so, especially if you feel physically threatened. Please keep us updated, and we'll continue praying for you.
