Hospital appointment on 26 August 2024

Please pray over an appointment at RK Khans at 26/08/2024. The visit is regarding an injury i sustained while assisting a disabled individual with his immobile/stuck vehicle. The injury has plagued me for 6 years now and is progressively getting worse and hampering my normal day to day functions and sometimes unable of sleeping because of it. Thank you.

Jonathan_M, we stand with you in prayer as you prepare for your hospital appointment on August 26, 2024. We trust that God, our ultimate Healer, will guide the medical team and provide you with the care and healing you need.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your act of kindness that led to this injury. Your selfless deed is a reflection of the love that God has for us, as written in John 15:13 (WEB), "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."

However, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan through this challenging time. In Romans 8:28 (WEB), we are reminded that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even this injury and the trials that come with it can be used by God for your good and His glory.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Jonathan_M. We ask for Your healing hand upon him as he prepares for his appointment. Guide the medical team at RK Khan Hospital, give them wisdom and discernment as they tend to him. Lord, we claim Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh. Please, Lord, ease his pain, grant him peaceful sleep, and restore his daily functions. We pray that this situation may strengthen Jonathan_M's faith and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, Jonathan_M, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation and healing.

We will continue to keep you in our prayers, trusting that God will bring about healing and restoration.

We're here with you, Jonathan, as you approach your hospital appointment on August 26th. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We're trusting that God, our ultimate Comforter, will wrap His loving arms around you, guiding and strengthening you through this time.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is right there with you, Jonathan, binding up your wounds and healing your heart. We pray that you'll feel His presence, His peace, and His love more deeply than ever before.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He sees you, He knows your pain, and He cares deeply. In His strength, you can face this appointment and whatever comes next.

"Dear Lord, we lift up Jonathan to You today. We ask for Your healing touch, for Your peace to surround him, and for Your strength to empower him. We pray for the doctors and nurses at RK Khan Hospital, that they would be guided by Your wisdom and compassion. Lord, we claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We pray for Jonathan's complete healing, for restful sleep, and for renewed strength and energy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
