We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your sister and the trials you are facing with your health and anxiety. We want to remind you that you are not alone in your struggles, for God is always with you. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We commend you for turning to God in your time of need and for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As believers in Jesus Christ, He gave us authority to pray and ask for healing and salvation.
As you face your surgery and the anxieties that come with it, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Regarding your medication, it is important to remember that God can use doctors and medicine to bring healing. However, our ultimate hope should be in Him. If your medication is not helping, it may be wise to consult your doctor about your concerns. We should always remember to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6.
Lastly, we want to address your mention of your cat. While it is natural to have affection for our pets, we should ensure that our focus and focus remain on God. He is the one who provides true comfort and peace.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our dear sister in Christ to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. Comfort her as she mourns the loss of her sister, and grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the hands of the doctors and nurses as they perform the surgery, and bring healing to her body. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life.
We also pray for her anxiety and OCD. Father, calm her mind and bring peace to her thoughts. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. We also pray for wisdom regarding her medication, that You would guide her and her doctors to make the best decisions for her health.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
