We are joining you in prayer for Aunt Rachel's housing needs and for God's glory to be revealed in her life.
Firstly, we acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So that Father God knows we are approaching Him through Jesus.
Let us pray together: "IJN, please will you provide Aunt Rachel with money and the home she needs according to your will and riches in glory by Christ Jesus, we humbly ask as a group.
Remembering always, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Also Acts 4:12 as we are discussing this, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Regarding Aunt Rachel's housing situation, we pray for God's favor and provision. We know that God cares for our needs and that He is a faithful provider. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Be sure to pray desiring God's will above your own. If it is God's will, He will provide her with the apartment and facilitate a quick move-in date.
We also pray for God comparing Proverbs 3:5-6, Lean not on your own understanding, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Be sure to help and be compassionate to Aunt Rachel to the best of your ability. If you are unable to help Aunt Rachel with funds or assistance at her apartment, ask church leaders and friends to help. Considering the whole group, as the Bible states, bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ Galatians 6:2. Be sure to pray that God will bless others as they bless Aunt Rachel and be very thankful to those whom were kind, loving, and very gracious in helping Rachel. Either way, Christ Jesus wins.
When praying for you and Aunt Rachel. Be sure those whom pray for Rachel and yourself are praying in accord with God and his word and sinning not by asking for wealth and not God's will. All sin is an abomination before Christ Jesus. We as Evangelical conservatives pray to the sovereignty, holiness, and majesty of God. We need to admire His wisdom and power and let Him know how much we trust Him and how much we desire for His will and the proclaiming of His glory.
Amen."
And we pray for God's true glory to be shown through Aunt Rachel's life, that this blessing may be a testament to God's faithfulness and love. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." God and Jesus Christ both love Aunt Rachel and God's will is paramount. We pray this all in Jesus' name.
Remember, God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Be very encouraged by this precious verse.
We are humbled and thankful for the opportunity to pray together for Aunt Rachel's needs and for God's glory to be manifested in her life. For we believe this does conclude and end not, our prayer, but begin our pursuit for the will of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
