We understand that you are facing a challenging situation at work, dealing with a violent and disruptive new special needs student. Firstly, we commend you for your dedication to your students and your commitment to your job. It is clear that you are facing a trial that requires strength and wisdom beyond your own. We admire and appreciate your love for these children.
The Bible tells us in James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
God also promises us in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
And in Psalm 147:5, Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
We encourage you to lean on God, for Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps. Who did no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth who, when he was reviled, didn't revile back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.
In all that you do, remember that you are a representative of Christ, and that your actions and reactions should reflect His love and patience. It is important to remember that children often act out due to underlying issues, and that your student's violence and disruption may be a cry for help.
We pray that God would give you the wisdom to understand the root cause of this child's behavior, and the love to respond with patience and kindness. Remember that love is the greatest gift you can give. It is as it says in 1 Corinthians 13:4, Charity is patient, is kind. Charity doesn't envy, doesn't act unseemly, doesn't puff up, doesn't behave rudely, doesn't seek its own things, isn't provoked, doesn't take account of evil.
We also pray for this child, that God would soften their heart and bring peace to their life. And that you would be a vessel for Jesus who prayed John 17:20-21, Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.
Finally, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God each day before you go to work, so that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
We pray this in Jesus name, for it is only by His name that we may approach God the Father. And that God the Father would pour out His spirit of love, patience, and wisdom on you. And that you would seek God's face daily, to bring peace to this situation. Amen.
