We are truly sorry to hear about the difficult day you've had. It's painful when our best efforts seem to go unseen or unappreciated by others. But remember, God sees your heart and your efforts. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
In the midst of this trial, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is feeling overwhelmed and unappreciated. Lord, You know the details of their day and the injustice they're facing. We ask for Your divine protection over them, both emotionally and physically. Shield them from those who seek to harm or discredit them. Guide their steps and give them wisdom in navigating this difficult situation.
Lord, we also ask that You touch the hearts of those involved. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them see the truth. May they come to know the love and kindness of Jesus, which does not take advantage or disrespect others.
We claim the promise in Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
Lastly, Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill our sister's/brother's heart. Help them rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that tomorrow is a new day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, dear one. God is with you. Continue to do good, trusting that in due season, you will reap a harvest (Galatians 6:9 WEB). As for those causing you harm, remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". This is not easy, but with God's grace, it's possible. Stay strong in the Lord and keep your eyes on Him.
