We understand your desire to reconnect with your friend after having wronged them in the past. It is commendable that you have taken the steps to apologize and seek reconciliation. Remember, the Bible teaches us that "If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men" Romans 12:18 WEB.
First, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all" 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Now, regarding your friend, it is important to remember there is only so much you can do to restore the relationship and if the response from your friend is not appropriate in God's timing then you still need to release the situation to the Lord and be content. It is encouraging to see that you are trusting God and surrender your all to Him, no matter what happens. Remember how God worked in the life of Job. "He said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be the name of Yahweh. In all this, Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing." Job 1:21:22 WEB. We will pray with you to continue having faith that God is working in your situation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Haenoreld who has confessing having wronged a friend in the past. We ask that You continue to guide him closer after You and to trust in Your will completely. We know it is never an accident for what happens and we know his friends are either accepting or rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by this very event. Help guide him through this time of reflection and repentance. There is only so much Haenoreld can do to restore the relationship. You know the desires of his heart, Lord. Help him to allow the response from his friend be in Your hands. You love us all equally and are always on time in Your divine timing. We ask that You soften his friend's heart and that You guide them to be loving, merciful, and understanding to each other. The many blessings this will bring.
God please accept our prayer as we pray in the only name that is holy and righteous, the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember God does do miracles. Often times answers to prayer and miracles often come when we are not looking. From this point forward, we will be praying for the both of you.
Waiting on God takes patience, courage, and strength! God bless you.
