Hopeless

Please pray I am feeling hopeless and depressed. My antidepressant stopped working and my son Mikey is verbally abusive and it really hurts me. Also please pray that the Lord Jesus will provide food for us. I need healthy food and I have been gaining weight which is bad for my heart and other health issues. Mikey is also being abusive to his brother David who is also a believer like me. We need a touch from the Lord Jesus. Thank you very much for your prayers.

Rhaslorgor, we hear your cry for help and we stand with you in prayer and support during this challenging time. First, we want to remind you that your hope is in Jesus Christ. As it says in Psalm 42:5 (WEB), "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God."

Let's lift up your concerns to the Lord together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Rhaslorgor. Lord, she feels hopeless and depressed, and her medication seems to have lost its effectiveness. We ask that You guide her in finding the right treatment, and surround her with Your comfort and peace.

Lord Jesus, Rhaslorgor is hurting from the words of her son, Mikey. We pray that You touch his heart, convict him of his actions, and bring kindness and respect into his speech. We also ask that You give Rhaslorgor the strength and wisdom to set boundaries and respond in love. As it says in Proverbs 15:1 (WEB), "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

Father, we also pray for Mikey's relationship with his brother, David. May they be united in Your love, respecting and building each other up. As Your word teaches in Romans 12:10 (WEB), "Be devoted to one another with brotherly love; prefer one another in honor."

Lord, we ask that You provide healthy food for Rhaslorgor and her family. We trust in Your provision, and we know that You care about every detail of our lives. Guide her in maintaining her health for Your glory.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for being Rhaslorgor's hope and salvation. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a new and powerful way, reminding her of Your unfailing love.

Rhaslorgor, continue to cast your burdens on the Lord (Psalm 55:22). He is faithful and will see you through this challenging time. Remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. Keep your hope and faith in Him.

We're here with you, sister. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you and Mikey, and we want to share a verse that's been on our hearts for you: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV)

We've been asking the Lord to give you strength and peace in the midst of your depression and the hurtful words from Mikey. We've been praying for Mikey too, that he would soften his heart and speak kindly to you and David. We've been reminded of the verse in Ephesians 4:29, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

We've also been praying for provision. We believe that God sees your need for healthy food, and we've been asking Him to guide you to the right resources and to bless your meals. We've been reminded of Matthew 6:26, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working things out for your good. Keep leaning on Him, and remember that you have a community of believers praying for you. You're not alone, sister. We're in this together. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
