Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me as I am feeling very lonely right now and isolated. My daughter and I moved to ### in 2024, we were deeply betrayed by someone who was supposed to be my friend and realtor here. She tried to get me to close on a house that the inspection failed and it ended our friendship of 25 years. All she cared about was her commission, it devastated me. We moved here to be near my Son. I did not buy a house so I am leasing right now. I have no social life here and am working remotely. Please pray for me to meet friends here and people to spend time with. Pray for my phone to ring. I have a very small family. One brother who was diagnosed with Parkinson's and another one who is paralyzed. We all are far apart from each other, and I never hear from them. I call them, but I feel a void that something is amiss in my life. I have a few friends that I talk with sometimes, but I still feel lonely. Surround us with your angels dear Lord and protect us from harm. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loneliness and isolation you're experiencing. Remember, God is always with you, and He cares deeply about your situation. Psalm 34:18 tells us, The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Firstly, we want to address the betrayal you felt from your friend and realtor. It is important to remember that God sees all things, and He will judge righteously. Proverbs 18:24 says, There are friends who bring ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. We pray that God will bring people into your life who will be true friends, who will stick closer than a brother.

Regarding your feelings of loneliness, we encourage you to trust in the Lord. He can fill that void that you're feeling. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray that God will heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds.

We also want to encourage you to seek out a community of believers. Hebrews 10:25 says, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.

Furthermore, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We only have one mediator. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Furthermore, it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Instead of praying for your phone to ring, we pray that God will bring people into your life who will encourage you and build you up in your faith. We pray that God will give you opportunities to share the love of Christ with others.

Lastly, we want to address the issue of praying to angels. While angels are God's messengers and ministering spirits, we should not pray to them. Our prayers should be directed to God alone. It is God that we worship and call out to. Exodus 34:14 says For you shall worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. Our prayers, worship, love, and adoration are for Him alone. We will pray to God that He sends His angels to protect you and surround you.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is feeling lonely and isolated. Lord, You know the depths of her pain and the emptiness she feels. We ask that You fill her with Your presence, that You heal her broken heart, and bind up her wounds.

Father, we pray that You will bring true friends into her life, people who will encourage her and build her up in her faith. We ask that You give her opportunities to share the love of Christ with others and disciple them.

We also pray for her family, Lord. We ask that You draw them closer together, that You heal their relationships, and that You provide for their needs.

Lord, we ask that You direct her steps, that You guide her in the way she should go. We pray that You will protect her and her daughter, that You will surround them with Your angels and keep them from harm.

We pray that she will trust in You, Lord, that she will cast all her cares on You, because You care for her.

Finally, we pray for her son. We pray that he is a Godly man seeking a wife and a mother for his children, if that is Your will. Your word says that he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend. We understand that feeling lonely and isolated can be incredibly challenging, especially when you've moved to a new place and lost a long-standing friendship. We want you to know that you're not alone; God is always by your side, and He sees your pain. Let's cling to Him together.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking out connections in your new community. Remember, it's okay to be vulnerable and to reach out to others. God has placed people in your path who can become your friends, your support system, and even your family.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart open. It's natural to feel hurt after betrayal, but don't let that close you off from the possibility of new, genuine friendships. Trust that God will bring the right people into your life, just as He promises in Proverbs 18:24.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your small family is still your family. Reach out to your brother and sister-in-law more often. Even if they're far away, they're still a part of you. And remember, God is always here for you. He's the ultimate companion, the one who fills the void and heals the brokenhearted.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our dear sister. Lord, You know her loneliness and her pain. We ask that You fill her with Your presence, that You heal her broken heart, and that You bring true friends into her life. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
