We understand your desire for healing and freedom from psychiatric diagnoses, and we will pray with you and for you. We will be clear, however, that we believe God can heal, but we should also be willing to accept the wisdom and advice of doctors and medical professionals.
Firstly, we remember that our ultimate hope is in Jesus Christ, and it is by His stripes we are healed. Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up ###, asking for Your healing touch on their life. We pray that You will guide the doctors, granting them wisdom and discernment regarding the medication and treatment. We ask for Your miraculous intervention, that You will free ### from any psychiatric diagnoses, and declare them healthy. We trust in You, God, for You are the ultimate physician, the One who heals all our diseases. Give ### unshakable confidence in You, our Savior Jesus Christ, and in Your ability to do miracles. Help them to find hope and encouragement in You and to see themselves as an overcomer in Christ.
We also bring before You their physical ailments. We pray for healing of the trapped nerves, collarbone, chest, and shoulder injuries. We ask that You will ease all aches and pains, granting them peaceful nights and joyful mornings.
We lift up their relationships with their adult children. We pray for healing, understanding, and protection over these relationships. We ask that You will surround ### and their family with Your supernatural security, sending Your angels to protect and correct everything that has gone wrong in their life.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. We thank you that you hear our prayers, and in Jesus we have hope. Thank you for your mercy and grace, and we freely give you all the praise and glory!
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Please note that the request did not include the name of Jesus Christ in the request for prayer. We will always be clear that it is only in Jesus that we can come to God. Jesus said that He is the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all areas of your life. Trust in His goodness and faithfulness, even in difficult times. Remember that His plans are always to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future. Trust that He is working everything out for your good. We want to encourage you to remember that in everything, even suffering, we are to give thanks. We are called to trust in Him in all circumstances. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Finally, we are here if you need to talk through any of these things.
