Lerrys, we understand your concern and fear, and we are here to pray with you. First, let's remember what the scripture says: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lerrys and their mom. Lord, we know that You are a God to those who call upon You and we are calling upon You right now for help. We ask that You send help to Lerrys' mom who is dealing with car troubles. We ask that her car will be ok and that it can make it home safely, with no damages. We ask for Your protection, to keep her safe from injuries and any danger. We ask for Your angels to encamp around her, providing a hedge of protection.
As Lerrys is worried and scared, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to flood their heart. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask that You replace it with Your peace and comfort. Help Lerrys to trust in You and to know that You are in control.
We also are asking for the protection of Lerrys' mom in Jesus' name. We are asking for Lerrys, so they may understand this situation is a great opportunity to be a light and point their mother to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are asking that Lerrys may be strong and not succumb to any fear or anxiety.
Lord, we know that You are faithful, and we trust in Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, and we thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We ask that Lerrys' mom also come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lerrys, remember that God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Trust in Him, and know that He is in control. Also, Lerrys, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As scripture says: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) Again, for there is no other name given among humans whereby we must be saved. Salvation is only possible through Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
