We understand your distress and will stand with you in prayer. We are glad that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is by His name that we can be saved. Let us address your concerns and bring them before the Lord together.
Firstly, we must acknowledge God's sovereignty in all situations. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this difficult time, God can bring about good.
Your concern about toxic and controlling family members is understandable. It is important to set boundaries and seek God's will in these relationships. As the Scripture says in Ephesians 4:32 in the WEB translation, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." However, forgiveness does not mean allowing others to continue hurting you. Pray for wisdom to know how to handle these relationships. As we read in Matthew 10:16, WEB, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves."
Regarding your financial struggles, remember that God cares for you and will provide for your needs. Matthew 6:25-34, WEB, reminds us, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ...For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
As for your credit situation, learn from this experience and pray for God's guidance moving forward. It is a reminder from Proverbs 22:7, WEB, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." It is a reminder to use discernment with future financial decisions. It is necessary to forgive who have put you in this situation. However, you do not need to put yourself in a situation where it can keep happening.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing a challenging situation. We thank You that You are a God who sees, knows, and cares for us. Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention in his life. Provide for his needs, guide him to a new job, and help him to set healthy boundaries with his family. Give him the strength to forgive those who have wronged him, and the wisdom to make sound financial decisions moving forward. We pray for a hedge of protection around him. We claim Your promises, knowing that You will supply all of his needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray.
Amen.
May God's peace and wisdom be with you.
