Let us begin by lifting your concerns to God, remembering the words of Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Let us pray together:
Almighty God,we come before You,lifting up Fathog in prayer, asking for Your comfort and healing. We pray that You would ease the pain from the loss of his beloved mother and grandmother. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. God, we also ask for Your provision in his financial struggles. We pray for a solution to his car troubles and for the ability to pay his bills.
Fathog, while we empathize with your difficulties, let us remind you of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we come boldly before the throne of grace to obtain mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). In John 14:6 WEB Jesus told him,”I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” This is the only way to salvation and we must rely on Jesus Christ, and come to God through him.
We also want to address your thoughts on love and marriage. We commend you for viewing marriage as a cherished goal. However, we must remember that love is not merely an emotion, but a commitment. The Bible tells us that true love is patient, kind, and enduring (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). As you consider marriage with Monique, pray for God's will and timing. Remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
Keep your hearts pure and make sure you honor each other before and after marriage. Abstain from any sexual sin before marriage, it may give you temporary enjoyment, but lead you out of God's will and path for a righteous, pure marriage. But if they can’t contain, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn. 1 Corinthians 7:9 WEB. 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB Flee the lusts of youth. Follow after righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Give all your concerns to God, and trust that He has a plan and purpose for you (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Do not lose hope, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
Let us pray that you will find God's peace in this difficult time. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
