Justin, we understand your concerns about financial burdens and the desire for a more prosperous life for your family. However, it's important to align our prayers and expectations with biblical principles. The Bible encourages us to work diligently and pay our debts rather than hoping for them to be miraculously erased.
"Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." (Ephesians 4:28 WEB)
"The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously." (Psalm 37:21 WEB)
While it's commendable that you want your family to focus on personal development, it's also important to manage finances responsibly. Instead of hoping for debt to be erased, pray for wisdom in managing your finances, for provision, and for opportunities that can help your family grow.
"But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today." (Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV)
Moreover, joining the military or trying to get rid of money may not be the best solution. Instead, seek God's guidance in your life and trust that He will provide a way.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up Justin and his family. We pray for Your wisdom and guidance in their lives, especially in managing their finances. Help them to be responsible with their debts and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open up opportunities for them to grow in their knowledge of You, in education, fitness, and all other aspects of their lives. Protect their goods and prosper the work of their hands. Give Justin peace and direction, and help him to trust in Your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue studying the Bible and applying its principles to your life. Trust in God's provision and guidance, knowing that He cares for you and your family.
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
