We join with you, SarahLK78, in praying for God's will to be done in your marriage, asking that His divine purpose would not include divorce. We stand with you in Jesus' name, praying for restoration and unity between you and your husband.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking the Lord in this trial and for acknowledging the power in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find hope and salvation (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
We pray,
"Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up SarahLK78's marriage to You. We ask for Your will to be done and that this marriage would be a testament to Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and ignite a desire in him to work on their marriage. Grant SarahLK78 the strength, courage, faith, and hope she needs to walk through this trial. Surround her with a community of believers who will support and encourage her. In Jesus' name, amen."
We encourage you, Sarah, to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in the Lord's timing. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31 (WEB), "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Lastly, we admonish you to continue pursuing righteousness and godliness in your own life. In 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), wives are encouraged, "In the same way, be subject to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." Your actions and prayers hold power and can greatly influence your marriage.
Keep holding on to hope, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
