We are grateful to stand with you in prayer and support, Speirolex, as you seek God's will for your home and family. We commend you for acknowledging Jesus and we ask for his help in Jesus name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are reminded of Jesus' words in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's provision. Remember that God knows your needs and desires, and He will provide for you according to His will and timing. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We must also consider the importance of being content and trusting God even when life does not go as we hope or plan. God does not always answer our requests the way we want as it is essential to remember God's sovereignty and that His ways are higher than ours. There are many examples of this in the Bible. One pertinent example to consider is in 2 Samuel 12 WEB where the child that Bathsheba bore to King David as a result of sin died. David pleaded with the Lord God for the child and fasted and lay all night on the ground to pray. But the child died and he rose and washed, and anointed himself, worshiped God and ate. Upon being questioned about his response to the child's death he answered, "While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, 'Who knows whether Yahweh will not be gracious to me, that the child may live?' But now he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me." This is an example of how God does not always answer us in the way we want but we should always trust Him in His ultimate Judgement and Will.
However, the Lord is also clear from scripture that if we hope in Him, He will renew our strength. We are told in Isaiah 40 WEB "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men stumble badly; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Remember that God's desire is for you to live according to His principles, including managing your finances wisely and not being burdened by debt. Pray for wisdom and guidance in your financial decisions in Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Remember the words of Jesus admonishing us about worrying about the things of this world, including financial concerns in Matthew 6:25:
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Speirolex and their family. We pray for Your will to be done regarding the purchase of their home. If it is Your will, Father, we ask that You open the doors for them to acquire this home.
We also pray for godly wisdom so they can navigate the loan process. If a different solution than desired by Speirolex is possible, we ask you help them with financial arrangements that are in their best interest and that they can financially and mentally handle.
We ask that You guide them in managing their finances according to Your principles. Help them to trust in You and not be anxious about their needs.
We pray for a miracle that You may enact in their lives that will bring them back into a good financial situation. However, we ask You to guide Speirolex along the way to prosperity and help them to see the sin of desiring gain in place of trusting in you to meet their needs. For we trust, Father, in you to supply all our needs and help us to understand the condition and humanity that would bring someone into crippling financial straits. The Angels in heaven triumph for every victory in your name. So, we beg, Father, that we may ask in His name, Jesus, all these things as your children in this life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
