We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, DonnaT. We are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement during this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our God is a God of mercy and forgiveness. He tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your past does not define you in God's eyes, and He can use your trials for good, as it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also want to address the shame you feel. Remember that your worth is not defined by your circumstances or what others think of you. In God's eyes, you are precious and loved. Ephesians 1:4-5 tells us, "even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love, having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire."
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our sister DonnaT. Lord, she is facing a difficult situation, potentially losing her home and having to live in her car again. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Open doors for her to find a safe and permanent place to live. Touch the hearts of those who have prejudices against her due to her past, and help them see her with Your eyes of love and compassion.
Lord Jesus, we thank You that DonnaT has called upon Your name. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her more each day, that she may know the hope of Your calling. We pray that she will not be ashamed or embarrassed, but that she will know her worth in You.
We also pray for her comfort and provision during this cold season. May You provide for her needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you, DonnaT, to keep trusting in the Lord. Remember that He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep calling upon the name of Jesus, for His name is powerful and there is salvation in no one else. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
