We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your son are facing. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and provision.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a loving and compassionate Father who cares for you deeply. In Psalm 34:17-18 WEB, it says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
To minister to you and your son, we clearly proclaim Jesus. We do not have a direct response from you including Jesus in your prayer request as needed in order to approach God. Consider that the word of God tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" I Timothy 2:5. Therefore, here it is a blessing to learn more of Jesus, the Christ. You and your son can believe it to be the only faith that can save you. Note that Acts 4:12 tells us "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Finally to learn more about what is needed for salvation we can see Romans 10:9 WEB "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is why we sincerely hope that you and your son can both believe that all this has been done for our benefit so that we can be saved out of this horrible world and into the everlasting arms of our loving and compassionate Father. Reading and learning the bible is the best thing you can do to help in prayer. This is a tragedy in your life at the moment that may induce discouragement and a lack of faith. Seek Jesus that he may use it to build your faith. Remember that "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in princes. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in princes" Psalm 118:8-10.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear widow and her son. Lord, You know their struggles and the pain they are going through. We pray for Your divine intervention in their lives.
Father, we pray for a successful surgery and complete healing for this dear woman. Please guide the hands of the surgeons and let Your healing power flow through them. We pray for a safe place to live, a home where they can find comfort and peace during this challenging time. Also pray and rebuke our worldly governments that they do not put themselves in the place of God with more power than they should. Rebuke their actions causing adversity to your children.
We also pray for financial provision. Lord, You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and You know their needs. We pray for clear help in the name of Jesus Christ. However, Lord, teach them that faith is eternal wealth and that despite revealing our needs to you, that we also trust based on the example prayer of Jesus in Mathew 6 that your will can include such trails in our lives you want to see us grow from. We pray for guidance for this dear woman and her son, that they may find a way through this difficult time and grow stronger in their faith in You.
Please provide through loving Christian brothers and sisters to help them. We also ask that even in this trial continue to sanctify and support both mother and son both spiritually and physically in his faith and social upbringing. We pray that the widow will be a strong foundation of godly values for her son and a clear godly example of living a prayerful life to him. In this we pray that they both have fellowship at a godly Christian church for godly relationships so they can help them in special ways. We pray for him that he can help his mother find her needed help for support and be an example to others.
"Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." Ephesians 4:28 WEB.
Jesus Himself said, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" Luke 4:18 WEB. This scripture Jesus was referring to himself in when reading in the Synagogue.
We thank You as well for everyone who has taken time to pray for and respond to their needs. We thank You for the community of believers who support and uplift each other in times of need and have an opportunity to help.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. God is faithful, and He will see you through this challenging time. Continue to seek Him and His will for your lives and look at examples of faith you can learn from in the Bible. Remember this will one day be a testimony. Continue to pray for good and godly friends and community support. We will have you both in our prayers as well and in our hearts.
