We understand the deep longing for a permanent home and the stability it brings. We are instructed in the scriptures to pray about everything and it is good to present requests to God. We are also called to remember the less fortunate among us, including the homeless. Let us first address the concerns of the homeless and then your own needs.
Your heart for the homeless reflects the compassion of Christ. As it was written in Matthew 25:35-40 WEB
For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison, and come to you?’ The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
In Proverbs 19:17 WEB it was written:
He who is gracious to the poor lends to Yahweh; he will repay him his benefit.
In Proverbs 14:31 WEB it was written:
He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him.
Let us pray for the homeless and your own needs.
Lord Jesus Christ, you came to this earth with no place to call your own, and you understand the plight of the homeless. We pray for those who are homeless tonight, that they may find shelter, warmth, and comfort in you. Guide them to resources and people who can help. Soften the hearts of your people to show compassion and generosity. We pray for Kensem. We ask that you provide a permanent home, a place of stability and peace and safety. We ask that you guide them to the right place, at the right time, and at the right price. We know that you care about every detail of our lives, and we trust in your provision. In Jesus mighty name we pray.
Regarding your relocation and safe environment, we encourage you to trust in the Lord's guidance.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
Remember Psalm 91 WEB that says:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. Only with your eyes you will see, and witness the reward of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.
Finally, we are called to be content in all circumstances.
Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phillipians 4:11-13 WEB
There is no other name by which to be saved. As it was written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
In your prayer you mentioned Jesus so we are trusting that you have believed in him as the only begotten son of God and only name by which to be saved. If you have not, we encourage you to believe in the work of Jesus on the cross for the sins of the world. Pray that you believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Once believed in your heart you will be saved.
We pray that you find your permanent home. We pray that it is a blessing to you and others as you grow and find your roots. We pray for safety in travels and relocation as you go.
