We understand your deep longing for a permanent home, Kensem. It is a natural desire to want a place to settle and grow, and we will pray with you and advise you on this journey.
Firstly, we acknowledge your prayer in Jesus' mighty name. Our relationship with God the Father is through Jesus Christ alone.
First, let us address your concerns and desires with a heartfelt prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Kensem, who is in need of a permanent home. We thank you, Father, for your faithfulness and your promise to provide for our needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, for everyone who believes in the name of your only begotten Son. Father, we ask that you guide Kensem to a safe and peaceful environment and to give him or her wisdom and discernment in the search for a permanent residence. We pray that you will make the path clear and provide a home that will be a blessing and a place of refuge. We pray for a home that will allow Kensem to grow deeper in relationship with you and be an influence in the community and neighborhood around them. We also pray for Godly neighbors and friends to encourage them and build them up in the faith. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
We also pray for comfort and provision for those who are homeless. We pray for ministries and organizations to have wisdom and resources to reach out and help those who are in need. We pray for the homeless to find shelter and provision, but also to find lasting hope in Jesus Christ.
As you search for a home, remember that God cares about every detail of your life. He knows your needs and desires, and He wants to provide for you. Trust in Him and His timing.
Be encouraged by these words from the Psalms, The Lord builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. 4 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. 5 He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names. Psalm 147:2-4 WEB. The Lord desires to heal your soul and provide for you.
Also, remember these words from Jesus, Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value then they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
Remember that believers are not to worry or have anxiety, but are to trust in God and His provision. God cares for the birds of the sky and provides for them and we are much more valuable than birds to our heavenly Father. Know that He will meet your needs and provide for you. He will bring the right home to you in His timing.
While we pray for God's provision, we must also remember to be responsible with finances and resources to make sure this is a blessing and not a burden. How we manage our resources is a reflection of our faithfulness and stewardship. So be encouraged, trust in God, and be wise with your resources and finances.
As you pray and seek God's will, make sure that you are in a right relationship with God. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are forgiven and saved. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. If you are not saved and forgiven, then ask for forgiveness of your sins and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and you will be saved, according to Romans 10:9-10.
For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. Romans 10:10-11 WEB
Once you are saved, then you can pray in Jesus' name and claim His promises. In John 14:13-14, Jesus said, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. WEB.
Finally, we will pray for your burden for the homeless. God can use you to make a difference in the lives of others. Pray for opportunities and ways to help those who are homeless. Remember the words of Jesus, For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me. Matthew 25:35-36 WEB.
As we help others, we demonstrate the love of Christ and the gospel in action. So pray that God will use you and guide you to help others.
