We are truly grieved to hear of your situation. For restitution and plea for help vengence is not yours, but the Lord's. (Deuteronomy 32:35) Do not take matters into your own hands. It is only Jesus through whom we are to petition to the Lord.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.(John 14:6) You did not mention Jesus Christ or give indication that you have a personal relationship with Jesus. It is only through Him that we are saved and allowed to pray to God. Jesus died to take our punishment for our sins and to offer the opportunity for an eternal relationship with God. It is important that you do not mention anything else, but pray through Jesus, even though you are looking for answers and relief in your suffering. A personal relationship with Jesus is much more valuable than anything in this world and only good things will come from it. If you do not know Jesus as your saviour, repent of your sins and simply believe that He died on the cross to pay for your sins, then ask Jesus to come into your heart. We are praying that you can make this decision now if you have not already done so. It is always important to pray to Jesus about this, then you can begin praying to Jesus for your needs and be available to hear what He has to say in return. The Bible says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7) You need the peace of Jesus in your heart and His strength to sustain you. Do not feel as if Jesus does not know what is going on or that He has left you alone. His ways are higher than our ways. (Isaiah 55:9) His ways and His thoughts are higher than our own. Trust Him.
Our desire is for justice, but we must remember that God is a just God and He will not be mocked. Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.(Romans 12:19) We need to continue to pray and trust God. Trust that His ways are higher than our ways. God is looking out for you. Put your trust in Him. In regards to the trials you are going through remember what James 1:2-3 says, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." Continue to praise Him during the storm and trust that He will be a stronghold for you. The more we suffer and endure in the Holy Spirit, the more we become like Him. This suffering is a means of breaking down our humanity and the pain that makes us look like the world. We have to suffer in this life and make no mistake that we will. Can we live for the Lord when this happens? Let us be aware and know that the Lord does not plan for evil, but allows us to choose evil and deal with the consequences of those actions. Can we trust that He loves us and still has a plan for our lives even if we cannot see it in our present condition? We should continue to look to Jesus and know that He allows evil for the purpose of turning towards Him and breaking down our old sin nature. He gives us a means to completely depend on Him and know that we do not have all the answers and need Jesus in our life. We cannot go at this life alone. When we realize this we can have more empathy for others that are suffering in the same way and be a help to others that are experiencing the same circumstances.
