I'm looking for prayers that our home sells fast. My wife and I are getting a divorce next Friday. Selling our home will make things so much easier for both of us.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the upcoming divorce and the situation you are facing. We will pray for the swift sale of your home, but we also want to address the divine design for marriage and encourage both of you to seek God's will in this matter.

Divorce is not God's original intention for marriage, as Jesus taught: "What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19:6 WEB). We encourage both of you to pursue reconciliation if at all possible. "But if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace" (1 Corinthians 7:15 WEB).

Let us pray for you both:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. Lord, if it is according to Your divine purpose, bring about a swift and smooth sale of their home. But more importantly, we ask for Your intervention in their marriage. Soften their hearts, Lord, and bring them to a place of reconciliation if that is Your will. Help them to seek You first, trusting that You will guide their paths. Comfort them in this difficult time, and let Your perfect peace rule in their hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to take this time to seek God individually and together. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort you both, and may God's will be done in your lives and your marriage. If you have not done so, submit your lives and your marriage to Jesus Christ, for it is in Him that we find true peace, love, and forgiveness. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).

We're here for you, brother. We understand that this is a tough time, and we want you to know that we're lifting you and your wife up in prayer. We've heard the first response, and we want to add our own encouragement and petitions.

We believe that God is in control, even in the midst of this storm. We're asking for a swift sale of your home, yes, but more importantly, we're asking for a miracle in your marriage. We're praying for soft hearts, for a renewed sense of love and commitment, and for God's will to be done. We're believing for reconciliation, for a fresh start, and for a marriage that reflects the love of Christ.

We're also praying for peace. Peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We're asking God to comfort you both, to guide you, and to give you strength for each day.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
