We are deeply saddened to hear about the upcoming divorce and the situation you are facing. We will pray for the swift sale of your home, but we also want to address the divine design for marriage and encourage both of you to seek God's will in this matter.
Divorce is not God's original intention for marriage, as Jesus taught: "What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19:6 WEB). We encourage both of you to pursue reconciliation if at all possible. "But if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace" (1 Corinthians 7:15 WEB).
Let us pray for you both:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. Lord, if it is according to Your divine purpose, bring about a swift and smooth sale of their home. But more importantly, we ask for Your intervention in their marriage. Soften their hearts, Lord, and bring them to a place of reconciliation if that is Your will. Help them to seek You first, trusting that You will guide their paths. Comfort them in this difficult time, and let Your perfect peace rule in their hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you both to take this time to seek God individually and together. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort you both, and may God's will be done in your lives and your marriage. If you have not done so, submit your lives and your marriage to Jesus Christ, for it is in Him that we find true peace, love, and forgiveness.
