Let us come together in prayer for this situation, seeking God's will and intervention in Jesus' name. Firstly, we appreciate that you have mentioned Jesus and recognize the power in His name.
We need to address a couple of things before we offer prayer. First of all, the phrase ex partner needs to be addressed. This implies a relationship that was more than just dating. If this means that you were both living together as if you were married, this is called fornication and is immoral.
1 Corinthians 6:9 WEB "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God."
If either you or your ex partner have a spouse, this is adultery. If you are both single but have been living as married then this is fornication. It is not appropriate for Christians to live together unless they are married. The bible says that marriage is between one man and one woman.
1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
We should encourage you to pursue a relationship that aligns with biblical principles. Marriage should be strongly endorsed when appropriate rather than just a partner.
It is good to see that you are trying to support your children. However, the goal should be for you to marry a Christian spouse and create a godly home for your children, with God as the foundation of the home. This is not to say that you should be together with your ex partner. In fact, you should not be together with your ex partner at all until you are married to another Christian person.
Now, let us pray for your children and your ex partner, seeking God's guidance and provision.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we pray for these three autistic children, that You would provide for their needs and give them a safe, clean, and comfortable home to live in. We ask that You would touch the heart of the local council to extend help and support to this family.
We also pray for the ex partner, that You would strengthen them and help them through this difficult time. We pray for their repentance and the restoration that can only come from Jesus Christ. We ask that You would guide them and provide for their needs, both emotionally and spiritually.
We pray for godly wisdom as they move forward. We pray that You would change the situation in your own way and timing. We pray for a Christian spouse to help support the family that is being built so that the family can thrive in a way that honors you.
Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would bring healing, restoration, and provision to this family. We pray for the children to have a godly example for their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will for your life and the lives of your children.
