Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation (Prayer for Understanding, Eph 1:17-19)

[Intercessor]

I ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. I ask that the eyes of our heart may be enlightened, so that we may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe, amen (from Ephesians 1:17-19).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank you for the privilege of prayer and for the opportunity to intercede on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Today, we lift up the prayer request of our fellow intercessor.

Father, we ask that you would grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may truly understand the hope of your calling and the riches of your glorious inheritance in the saints. Help us to grasp the surpassing greatness of your power that is available to us as believers.

We recognize, Lord, that this spiritual understanding is not something that we can attain on our own. It is a gift that only you can give. We humbly ask that you would pour out your Spirit upon us, filling us with your wisdom and revelation. Help us to grow in knowledge and understanding of you, that we may walk in your ways and fulfill the purpose you have for our lives.

We also pray, Father, for the Church as a whole. May your grace abound in our midst, providing strength and help in times of temptation. Let nothing be too hard for us, Lord, as we seek to live blameless and harmless lives, shining as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.

Finally, we pray for financial provision for those ministries and works of God that are currently facing financial challenges. We know, Lord, that prosperity is not the measure of success in your eyes. Help us to trust in your provision and to rely on your guidance as we seek to fulfill your purposes. May your will be done in every aspect of our lives and ministries.

Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, prosperity, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. Obedience to God is your love language to God. Obedience to God is the door to God’s heart, ears, and hands. You can't obey God in your own strength. Complete obedience is possible only through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with the desire, strength, wisdom, and spirit of obedience to obey You, Your Word, and Your will for my life. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. So that I can and will walk in VICTORY as I hear and obey Your voice and Word. God let Your blessing overtake me as You have promised in Deuteronomy 28:2-13, because I obey You. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I love and care about.
