**Prayer Group Update!** 
Let's continue lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember, God is faithful and He hears our prayers. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Ps 55:22)

Let's lift up 
for healing. "Lord, touch & restore her health. 'I am the Lord, who heals you.' (Ex 15:26) Grant her strength & comfort. 'Cast your cares on the Lord.' (1 Pet 5:7) Trusting Jesus for her recovery!" HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWER ME
…"Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." Acts 1:4‑5
Question: Are you walking in victory each day as you face different trials and tribulations? How can you?
Answer: By the power of the Holy Spirit.
Question: How can you know what to do regarding different circumstances? What are you to do about your daily problems? Should you call your husband or wife?
Answer: By the power of the Holy Spirit. Seek His directions, His answer, and choose to follow His ways. Ask the Holy Spirit your questions and then listen to His soft voice. He can be your Provider and Defender. The Holy Spirit can speak to your heart and direct your footsteps every day.
Question: How can you face each day and week when you are alone or raising your children without your spouse’s help?
Answer: By knowing who you are in Christ. When you accept Jesus Christ as Savior, you also have the Holy Spirit living inside you. Do you know that the Holy Spirit is living in you? The Holy Spirit has a plan and purpose for you every day. Ask for wisdom and knowledge for all your circumstances and He will give you divine help.
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9
Your Lord wants you to walk in victory while you are praying and waiting for God's miracle and promise of marriage restoration. Are you a good witness for the Lord daily or a bad witness by your actions, behavior and speech? Your Lord has the answer for your life to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be able to accomplish this. You need to know that the Holy Spirit is in you and will be with you to help you every day of your life. Are you talking to the Counselor daily?
"If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to youâ€â€¦.“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:15‑18, 26‑27
Jesus called the Holy Spirit "another Counselor." "Counselor" translated in Greek is, "parakletos," meaning literally "one called alongside to help." What a powerful word! This means He will be your Counselor, Strengthener, Comforter, Helper, Adviser, Advocate, Intercessor, Ally and Friend. Imagine having that much wisdom and knowledge living within you each and every day. You will not need to ask others, but get on your knees and ask the Holy Spirit about all your problems. The Holy Spirit is just an extension of what Jesus Christ did, with the same character and quality, while He was on earth.
I can personally tell you that I learned about all that the Holy Spirit can do for you back 20 plus years ago when I was standing. You will not be able to stand firm and be strong in the Lord, walking in faith, trusting the Lord in all circumstances, without the power of the Holy Spirit within you. It is the same way now. When I must make ministry decisions or write a devotional or answer an email, I say a prayer asking the Holy Spirit, "What should I say?" The Holy Spirit speaks to my heart, by His empowerment that lives within me. I will read my devotions in the morning and the Lord will speak to me about a special scripture that I need to share as a devotional. Praise the Lord!
I want you to know and understand the power of the Holy Spirit for more than one reason. First, you will be able to walk as a victorious Christian, knowing that you are never alone. You can talk to the Holy Spirit all the time. Second, you need to pray for your spouse's salvation and for them to be empowered by Holy Spirit when they surrender their will and way, accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their life. That is how your husband or wife will be able to say "No" to the temptations of the evil one, the devil. They will be able to break off all communication with the other person, when they know the Holy Spirit will empower them to be able to sever, crush and destroy all future communication with any ungodly relationships. Christians can say no to all sins or temptations when you know you have the empowerment of the Holy Spirit!
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:38‑39
I believe many Christians live defeated lives because of their lack of knowledge of God's truths, and not knowing the power of the Holy Spirit that is living inside them. I ask the Holy Spirit all the time to continually "Fill me up, Lord, I need more of You." I can do nothing without the Holy Spirit empowering me. Are you empowered by the Holy Spirit?
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:15‑20
Heavenly Father, I thank You for my salvation. Lord, I confess and repent of any unconfessed sins and yes, even sins of my anger, unforgiveness or any bitterness that I have toward my spouse not coming home. (Talk to your Lord about any other sins you are battling.) Thank You, Lord, for forgiving me of my sins. I surrender my whole life to You; my mind, my will and my emotions to You. Lord, I want to live my life empowered by the Holy Spirit. Lord, You teach me in Your Word, that You have given us the Holy Spirit to be with us all the time. Lord, now I pray that You will fill me up with more of You each and every day. Thank You, Lord. I receive the filling of the Holy Spirit by faith as I received my salvation. Thank You, Lord, for saving my soul and for empowering me with the Holy Spirit to live a victorious Christian life daily. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
