Let's lift up Gsaroytor's pregnancy, praying for a healthy baby girl. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb" (Ps 139:13). Trusting God's blessings & protection!
Let us come together in prayer for ###'s son, acknowledging that all wisdom and protection come from God. Let us also first commend ### for praying in Jesus' name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved, amen. The mere belief in God is not enough as even the demons believe in God. As James states in James 2:19 WEB You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder. Salvation is found in declaring Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
In Proverbs, we are reminded that "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding" (Proverbs 9:10 WEB). May ###'s son be filled with the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of all wisdom. By the way, the fear of the Lord does not mean we physically fear God, we are to have a healthy respect.
We will pray Psalm 91 over him, that God will be his refuge and his fortress, his God, in whom he trusts. We will pray that God will deliver him from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence, that he will protect him and his family to and from this gathering.
Additionally, let's discuss and pray for ###'s son to be a light in a dark workplace 1 John 1:7 WEB says But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. Let the words of his mouth and the meditations of his heart be acceptable in God's sight, (Psalm 19:14 WEB). As ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20 WEB), our actions and words should always point others to Jesus.
Be careful there is nothing wrong with having fun and socializing, but remember, it it can quickly become a stumbling block and I do not want to be partaking in another person's sin. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. (1 Corinthians 10:12) WEB. Do not put yourselves in the occasion of evil. Do not put yourself in a situation you should not be in or a place where you should not be in.
It does not directly mention ###'s son has a spouse, but as members of the body of Christ, we are called to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and to avoid any appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22, WEB) If you are dating or in a relationship that is not aligned with biblical principles, take this to heart. Father, we ask in Jesus name that the enemy has no opportunity. Father, please protect ###'s son from all harm physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and send your guardian angels to encamp around him tonight. We ask you, the Holy Spirit, to guide his behavior and communication, that he will honor God in every way. Father we petition your son Jesus Christ to send his watcher spirits to warn, guide, and protect ###'s son this evening. May ###'s son's conduct and speech be a testimony to the love and goodness of Jesus Christ. Father we ask that you bless this event. We're right there with you, ###, lifting your son up in prayer tonight. We've been reminding each other to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, and to lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
